Government workers in Ondo state today embarks on indefinite strike over unpaid salaries. The state TUC

(Trade Union Congress), JNC (Joint Negotiating Council), NLC(Nigeria Labour Congress) instructed workers in the state to stay away from work over what they call government care free attitude to workers welfare.

The labour union’s in the state in a communiqué which was signed by the state NLC Chairman, Bose Daramola, NLC Secretary, Adewale Sanusi, JNC Chairman, Sunday Adeleye, his Secretary Akinlolu Oluwole, as well as TUC Chairman and Secretary Ekundayo Soladoye and Fatuase Clement, respectively (NAN) says  the strike is necessary at this time as the state government is owing it’s workers over 5 months salaries which has aggravated the suffering of the state workers.
